About Wes; the guy behind the guy, behind the guy
Director. Writer. Editor.
Wes is a born filmmaker who has been directing and editing films since he could tell his friends what to do. In the past few years he has directed music video projects for Warner Bros., Sony, Capitol Nashville, Broken Bow, Audium and Curb. His video for Jason Aldean’s “Amarillo Sky” garnered him 2007 CMT and ACM nominations, including Director of the Year. His enthusiasm for the project and passion for his craft make Wes a favorite for clients, crews, and even producers.

With extensive editing credits already under his belt Wes continues to be in demand to cut TV shows and spots. Using these forays into the edit room to hone his skills as a director, Wes is consistently able to bring additional value to each project. Recently he has come to the attention of regional advertising agencies and is turning his skills to spots as well. Most notably, he has directed for Lexington Clinic, St. Louis Zoo, Tennessee Department of Tourism and Tennesee Lottery.

In addition, Wes as director of TeamRuckus, has participated in six "48 Hour Film Festival" projects - winning the audience award (among others) for four of the films.

In 2008, Wes finished his short film “Falling to the Top” which has been the official selection of the Nashville Film Festival and won 1st place for Short Film in the indieproducer.net film competition.

In 2009 Wes spend a year in Cape Town, South Africa to focus on writing. He recently optioned "The Breakup Artist" with co-writer Drew Langer.
